How to Make FFXIV Gil
FFXIV Gil can be spent on everything from furniture and products to high-level crafted gear, Dark Matter (used for repairs) or dyes to change equipment, weapons and glamour.
Players can earn Gil by completing quests and missions, guildleves, Duty Finder duties, dungeons and raids as well as killing monsters for sale to merchants.
- Gathering
Gathering is one of the best ways for Final Fantasy XIV players to earn Gil, as using gathering classes such as Miner or Botanist can produce thousands of Gil an hour in untimed nodes - the only constraint being mana (GP), which regenerates gradually.
Treasure Maps can also yield an abundance of Gil, although their chances can vary based on chance. Furthermore, Daily Roulettes and hunt boards also reward significant amounts. Farming materials for crafting also brings in considerable amounts; these can then be sold on the Market Board or desynthesized for even more Gil!
- Crafting
FFXIV provides several avenues for players to accumulate Gil. While combat is generally the primary means, many also enjoy cosmetically customizing their game experience by purchasing glamour items, mounts and houses at auction.
Quests, dungeons and raid boss chests all offer Gil rewards to players. Furthermore, completing a Duty Roulette will net even more Gil for players; equipment obtained in-game can also be sold off for Gil. In combat against enemies they drop a base amount of Gil with each battle with more being earned depending on its difficulty. In addition, selling rumors in taverns or taking on errands after chapter one will earn players some additional Gil.
- Combat
Weapons and armor play an integral part in shaping one's strengths and weaknesses in ffxiv, but acquiring high-quality gear requires an abundance of Gil. Accumulating such large sums may take some time if you don't specialize in dealing damage yourself.
Monsters drop variable amounts of Gil when defeated, and certain missions offer rewards (e.g. the Adventurer in Need bonus for tanking). Players can also earn Gil by completing main scenario quests, Dungeons missions, Free Company missions or selling equipment and items they own.
MMOPixel provides cheap and rapid delivery FFXIV Gil to make purchasing what players require easier and quicker.
- Player Housing Gardens
There are multiple methods available in FFXIV for making money - selling popular glamor gear to taking weekly/daily quests are just two methods, while players can also earn significant sums through hunting and FATE completions.
Some methods require more time than others, like farming dungeons and hunting monsters for special items; but these typically offer steady income streams and should provide long-term success.
Purchase and sale items via the Market Board can also be an option; this may prove risky due to players abusing it and driving down prices and undermining server economies. Players can also grow plants in Gil Gardens in order to earn money and increase profit.
- Free Company Workshops
If you belong to a large Free Company, workshop items can be an effective way of making cash. Unfortunately, however, competition among sellers for such goods can make selling them at the best possible prices difficult and may take time before success is found.
Selling items around major patches can be a good way to bring in more players looking for gear or consumables that coincide with the new content or just stockpiling necessities for use later. Unfortunately, major patches only happen every few months so this method won't always generate income.
Searching for items with few existing sellers reduces your chance of being outshone by competition on the market board.
- Mounts
Weapons and armor in Final Fantasy XIV are key to character progression; however, purchasing top gear requires considerable amounts of Gil that may be difficult to come by.
Players can gain Gil from treasure spheres, defeated enemies and selling items; the amount earned through defeating enemies increases as their level does. Furthermore, Eorzea rewards players with mounts that help them travel faster around Eorzea - such as the new Sil'dihn Throne mount that makes players look like royalty when riding it; this can be obtained in various ways including Main Scenario Quests or Free Company Workshops.
