How to Make FFXIV Gil
FFXIV Gil can be spent on everything from furniture and products to high-level crafted gear, Dark Matter (used for repairs) or dyes to change equipment, weapons and glamour.

Weapons and armor in Final Fantasy XIV are key to character progression; however, purchasing top gear requires considerable amounts of Gil that may be difficult to come by.
Players can gain Gil from treasure spheres, defeated enemies and selling items; the amount earned through defeating enemies increases as their level does. Furthermore, Eorzea rewards players with mounts that help them travel faster around Eorzea - such as the new Sil'dihn Throne mount that makes players look like royalty when riding it; this can be obtained in various ways including Main Scenario Quests or Free Company Workshops.
